Checking Load Assessment
Two numbers that have never been side by side in your organization, and a list of functions nobody decided on.
What usually happens. More arrives at your review desks than eighteen months ago, and the hours there have not changed. Somewhere a software update added a function that pre-sorts, scores or ranks. It was in the release notes, and nobody reads release notes. The difference between what arrives and what can seriously be checked lands on whoever signs, usually without anyone deciding that it should.
What happens. We pick two to four decision routes, typically purchasing, incoming invoices, hiring or service tickets. You export data your systems already hold: approval logs, ticket histories, change logs. The analysis measures throughput per review point today and eighteen months ago, the time per item at six focused hours a day, and the change rate, meaning the share of cases where the review altered anything. In parallel, eighteen months of release notes across your business systems are read for one question: which function that sorts, scores or ranks arrived unnoticed? The machine proposes candidates; I decide what holds, and the report states how many hours of my reading that took. We close with a 90-minute review of the results.
What you will see for yourself. The number pair for each review point, the change rate, the list of embedded functions with the date they appeared, and the lines where ownership and pace do not fit. If the change rate is close to zero, those cases are effectively unsupervised, whatever your approval policy says.
What it cannot do. It shows where the checking load lands. It does not tell you whether your organization should carry it; that is a value decision and belongs to the next step. And it depends on what gets logged. Where a decision route leaves no trace, the measurement finds nothing, which is a finding in itself, just rarely the one you ordered.

Management Baseline
An evidence-based picture of where your management system stands, benchmarked against 458 organizations.
What usually happens. Decisions about structure and strategy are made on the picture that was reported upward. That picture is rarely wrong in its details and often wrong in its proportions.
What happens. Your leadership team answers a focused online survey, about thirty minutes per person, available in English, German, French, Italian and Spanish. The results are condensed into an Organization Twin report: master control index, maturity level, the performance triangle of people, work and organization, a leadership scorecard and return on management, ranked against the 458 organizations of the Patterns of Mastery study. We then go through it together in a video review.
What you will see for yourself. Scenes from your own organization in the report that nobody ever reported to you.
What it cannot do. It tells you where you stand. It does not tell you whether you would hold up under the next serious strain. For that, the Checking Load Assessment or a stress test of your leadership system is the next step.

Decision Sparring
For leaders who have to make a call that does not fit the usual categories, or who want an outside view before they commit. One session or a series, by video. We work on the decision itself: what it rests on, who else it belongs to, and what you would have to see to change your mind.
What it cannot do. Sparring sharpens your judgment. It does not replace information you do not have, and it is not a second signature.
